Visual Studio for Abap ???

Hi all,

i read in a Message that there will be a "Visual Studio for Abap" ? Are there any informations out there about this ?

Will it support intellisense (like VS.NET) ? Code completion ?

Is it based on Eclipse ?

Release date ?

I saw and tested a tool (CL_WORKBENCH, CL_ASSIST) and this is very good (www.cl-software.com). But if there is something from SAP of course i will use this.

Greetings

Henning

    Hi Henning

SAP announced to release the new version of Netweaver with the Visual <b>Composer</b> (I guess you mean this) for ABAP at 2005. You may inspect these links for more information:

    Interoperability .NET

    .NET" target="_blank">https://www.sdn.sap.com/sdn/developerareas/dotnet.sdn?node=linkDnode1-2">.NET Interoperability Area

Web Dynpro for ABAP will be released in the Netweaver. If it's gonna be 2005 is another question.

Different from Webdynpro for Java, the ABAP version is part of SAP and no extra soft (based on eclipse) is needed.
