Third Party PO - vertex error

Hi,

We have a PO for our US company code and US plant which calculates external taxes through Vertex. But the delivery address is based out of Brazil. So when the user tries to save the PO SAP gives the error below:

Tax jurisdiction code SP XXXX not allowed for tax calculation schema TAXUSX

Message no. 06260

Diagnosis

The jurisdiction code of item SP XXXX is not defined for this tax code.

Procedure

1. Check the jurisdiction code for the item, or the tax code.

2. Choose Item -> More functions -> Taxes to determine which jurisdiction code is defined.

Has anyone dealt with this kind of error? If yes, could you tell me what would be the solution?
