How to design workflow for transaction EA13.

Hi All,

In fact, I have to design a workflow in such a way that if an Invoice Reversal is being processed by transaction EA13 ( Transaction for Reversal of Print Document and Pross. Billing Document [Single Reversal] ), the workflow will trigger in background and generate a mail to the concerned user for Approval/Rejection , and once the the user approves the request, the Invoice get automatically reversed and in case of rejection, obviously reversal will not take place.

I have found the Business Object "PRINTDOC" for this purpose.

Please help me out in detail because I am not well known of workflow application.

Thanks,

Rajeev Shrivastava.

Hi Rajeev,

Using the event trace you can check whether any events/workflow is avialble for your process.

Transaction SWELS used for switch ON the event trace and SWEL used to trace the event log.

If any events triggered during the evnt trace you can make use of it.

Otherwise you have to design the custom workflow and you need to trigger the event using the function modules.

Thanks,

Rajeev,

Is this a question on the same topic? If not, please start a new thread.

What do you mean by 'understand a Z-transaction''? Interface with it?

A Z-transaction can trigger a workflow by raising a triggering event, via function module SAP_WAPI_CREATE_EVENT.

A workflow can run a Z-transaction if that transaction is wrapped inside a method of a (BOR or OO) object.

Is this what you are after?

cheers
