Hi All,
I would like to know the settings that are required to be maintained for a material which have alternative units of measure (Base unit of measure ; Order unit of measure and issue unit of measure )
I also have few questions
1) The materials for which we are planning to add alternative unit were created long back so will it be fine if we add alternative units of measure for that material.
2) The materials have some open orders so will it effect in any way if i add alternatvie units to those materials.
3) how to maintain different unit of issue for a same material
Please give some inputs

1) you can add an alternative usit of measure at any time in a life cycle of a material
2) any new added alternative unit of measure will not effect existing transaction data.
3) first add the alternative measure ,then go to the plant/storage location view and add this unit in the field for goods issue unit
