unable to view Dasboard in preferences of CMC and infoview

Hi all,

I have recently upgraded to XIR3 SP3.2. under the prefernces section in infoview and CMC, the dashboard and analytics is not visible.

workaround:

1. click on prefernces in either CMC or infoview

2. click on the subsection : dasboard and analytics

3 error seen : this website has declined to show this page. http: 403

can someone please tell me what could be the resolution of the same.

Hi,

Try this resolution

To resolve the error messages, complete the following steps:

- In InfoView, click the Preferences link in the upper right hand corner.

- Expand the Dashboard and Analytics section.

- Look for the Change Initialization logon user: section and make a note of the user specified here.

- Check on "Change Initialization logon user" and input Administrator the password and click "OK"

- Restart Apache Tomcat or your Application server and then log into InfoView again and the issue should now be resolved

Cause

- the initialization user for Performance Management/Dashboard Builder is not a member of the Administrator's group.

- the initialization users password is incorrect

hi,

The problem is when I clicked on preferences, I do not see any thing. the error is " website has declined to show this page."

so the above answer is not solving my problem.

but to my surprise I now find a new or current Issue " When i click on preferences, the error is " PM User account is missing or corrupted."

sometimes I can expand the dashboard and anlaytics section under the preferences and sometimes not. but somehow when this appeared. I did the same and added the admin cred and its fine for now.
