Which fields are copied from SAP to APO during CIF ?

Hi,

How do I know which fields are transferred from SAP to APO when I do IMOD activation for Material Master ?

Fileds defined under message type CIFMAT get copied from R/3 to APO. However there are some fields in APO that get their value based on calculations that happen during the CIF. For example the field safety stock method in APO gets its value based on the values of fields safety stock and days supply in R/3.

Hi,

You can check the CIF User Exit in ECC CIFMAT01 in SMOD, in the Function module/component, you will get the parameter tables in which all fields are mentioned, these fields are nothing but the transfer structures for transferring data from ECC to APO system. As said in above thread, few fields in APO has their own logic hard coded / written in Standard SAP Function Modules/ include programs.
