XI 3.0: SOAP Adapter-> SOAP Action not available

We're running XI 3.0 at SP5. Within the Integration Builder configuration tool, I've set up a comm channel to use the SOAP adapter as a receiver. I need to add the SOAP action to the header, but unlike what the XI documentation says, I do not have a conversion parameter where I can specify the default SOAP action. All the other conversion parameters, 'Keep Headers', 'Keep Attachments', etc. are there, just not the 'Standard SOAP Action' one.

Any ideas what I am missing?

The parameter 'Default SOAP Action' comes with SP9, so upgrade our XI.
