    Hi,

To maintain batches for a material you need to check the batch management tick mark in the "Purchasing" Tab.After that you need to maintain the batch Master for that particular material through MSC1N(Note-If batches are managed manually). If you want that the batch number should generate automatically in ascending order then create object and for that object assign number range and that object should be assigned to the user exit to call the particular functionality.

    Thanks & Regards,

hello, sorry, but i still dont get it.

We have client (company on other "side"). This client send us EDI PO (without batch).

EDI PO arrival into our SAP and i need, that batch (batch with name "MY BATCH - i created manually) automaticall fill to this PO (or automaticall fill to Inbound delivery)

If you know how can be done, could you please give me little more informations?

For example: In MM set TAB xyz, column xxx to your batch and batch will be automaticall filled into delivery.....

Are you creating sales order or a purchase odrer from the EDI PO? Normally, a sales order is created when an EDI PO (850) message is received. If you need to default a batch, then this will need to be coded in the user exit. (There is batch determination in SD - but I don't beleive it wil work in the sales order when created from EDI.)

If you need to receive a PO into a set locatio, you can configure batch determination in MM to default the batch (e.g. based on movement type, material ect) to MY_BATCH.
