Hello Christian,

Thanks for suggestion but I want to know following,

a) It not about New GL is active or closed, but want to know from user prospective, does user will understand that he is entering data in New GL or Old GL ?

b) Do we have any t-code difference between new gl or old gl.

Thanks for Help,

Nishan

Hi,

well the user can not affect document entry in NewGL or old GL as its either NewGL or old GL, not both.

And yes, there are different T-codes for New GL and old GL, all the T-Codes used for ledger group specific posting (eg FB01L, ABF1L), many others (eg FAGLL03, FAGLB03) not to forget all the other ones starting with "FAGL".

Best regards, Christian

Hi,

check table FAGL_ACTIVEC to see if NewGL is active or not. Or view a posted document using FB03, if you can see an entry view and you can switch to a general ledger view, NewGL is active.
