Bank statement error

Hello,

I am getting an error message while trying to post an electronic bank statement

'Acct XXXXXXX Statement xxxxxx already exists entry ignored'

When i check i see that this statement do exist, but there is a difference in account balance that means this bank statment has not posted.

How do i check if the transaction in this bank statement has posted?

and if there was some problem with this transaction posting, how to get it posted? should i delete this bank statement and post it again?
