Error in Sales order creation

Hi ,

I am getting below error when creation SO

Material 3800.027.000 is not defined for the following combination of requi

Sales organization 1234

Distribution channel MP

Language DE

the material number that you entered is correct

the material has been created for the sales organization and distribution channel

only thing is material has description in Lang EN . No DE description is maintianed ,so that is the reason why this error is coming .

Please tell me is it required to maintain DE description ? do we have any customizing settings to to create SO with out DE description ?
