How to email out when change equipment status to Disabled

Dears,

The requirement is when user change equipment status to Disabled by rich POD component "Change Equipment Status", system needs to send email to inform that the equipment status is changed to Disabled, user need to take some actions to handle it.

I test to set a ReasonCode with an Event Type which config to send out email.

It works if I place a sfc hold with the setting ReasonCode.

But it did not work if change equipment status with the setting ReasonCode by rich POD.

Please advise how to do it.

Thanks!

Hi,

I would check if the Reason Code is of "Equipment Status" category and has Event Type assigned in Reason Code Maintenance.

Then if any channel actually looks for that Event Type.

And check defaultTrace for any errors.

Hi,

It seems the setting you mentioned are all done.

We test to send event by Event Send Client, it works, but Change Equipment Status rich POD fail to send email.

Any other idea? Thanks!

Please try base reason codes PLANNED_IDLE and PLANT_DOWN. Assign Event Type to them and if they don't work, it could be a bug.

HI,

I have tested base reason codes PLANNED_IDLE and PLANT_DOWN, both could not work. So it should be a bug.

Thanks!
