Limited access for Manager to Appraisal Templates in MSS

Hi Gurus,

We are doing Performance Management implementation. It were created 4 Appraisal Templates. In the portal under the MSS role manager has possibility to create Appraisal documents. The requirement from business owners - Manager should have access in MSS only to one Appraisal Template, the rest 3 Appraisal Templates are for HR in backend.

My question: is it possible limited somehow Manager access in MSS by configuration of WebDynpro (HAP_START_PAGE_POWL_UI_MSS) or this is development?

Looking forward hearing from you soon,

    Hi Dan,

I think you should be able to implement this via structural authorization (I'm attaching a pdf about authorization in PD it might help)or via badi below

    Definition name HRHAP00_AUTHORITY

Definition short text Appraisal Document - Authorization Check

    Best regards

I assuming that the manager has a seperate auth role as opposed to the HR person. Just add for the manager the auth. object P_HAP_DOC and restrict on template. The HR role can contain * for template.
