Hi

Its both config and front end activity .

In config you have to create the revision where you can assign the dates (OIOB) and if you want to assign functional location , equipment and WBS as you said in your post then you have to user IWR1 tr to create or rather to assign a FL, equipment and WBS.

Hi Shailendra,

your info is uesful. But I have some another doubts in trnsaction IWR1.

(1) What is the differnec between OIOB(Config) & IWR1(Master). Where these two will be used.

(2)What is the meaning of release & complete in IWR1, how these status are useful.

(3)Use of FL,Equipment & WBS ?

(4)Report where I can use the revision no.

Hi

You can use OIOB revision in any order but the revision which are created from IWR1 are only used by MEB ie maintenace event builder which is generaly used for large shutdown project you can attach any WBS to this also

Please check the below link for more info.

Hi,

Revision number can be used to group the Maintenance Orders. If there are more than one Maintenance Orders for certain activity, we can group those Maintenance Orders under Revision Number.

For example, there is Shutdown activity in Plant or some plant sections, that shutdown maintenance will go for 1 or 2 months as there are many equipments & object links.

So Maintenance Orders will be created for all the equipments under that Maintenance Plant or Plant section & those will be grouped by Revision number.

Once all the orders completed for that Revision Number, there is Completed check box to mention that activity has been completed.

Even reports can be seen based on Revision Number.

Revision Number will be created in OIOB.

Maheswaran.
