No data in BI Administrator

Hi all,

I am using BI Administrator cockpit, this worked fine for a while. But now, I do not get any data shown in the cockpit.

The values for the tabstrip menu appear, but there is no data in the template (i.e. 0tpli_0tct_mca1_q0144) shown in the web.

If I execute the template 0tpli_0tct_mca1_q0144 in report RS_TEMPLATE_MAINTAIN the data is shown.

Does anybody know what the problem could be?

Thank you.

Best regards

Christian

    Hello Christian,

Do you have any filter at the template? Some times user create a internal filter and that's why the data is not appering.

Maybe performing a personalization cleanup it helps: Go to system administration->support->Personalization Cleanup.

I hope that this can help.

    Dear Christian,

BI admin Cockpit runs on Java side.

And your template (0tpli_0tct_mca1_q0144) is a Webtemplate 3.x. So that means, you have to check if the communication between Java X BI -Abap is working correclty.

Run the BI Diagostics - Note 937697 V. 82 and correct all red marks. - This will ensure the communication is working properly.

If persist, go to transaction RSRT2 and execute the template via ABAP web. Check if the template works.

The url will be this one:

    http://<your abap server>:<TCP>/SAP/BW/BEX?&template_id=0tpli_0tct_mca1_q0144

If does not works, this could be an BW-BEX-OT-OLAP issue.

If works, the issue is BW-BEX-ET-WJR.

Then, I suggest you to open a message to SAP in order to investigate.

    Best Regards,

    Edward John

      Hi,

I checked your suggestions, but this did not solve the problem. So I am going to open a message at SAP Marketplace.

      Thank you.

      Best regards

    Hi Christian ,

Is this happening for all webtemplates or only for this webtemplate ?

You can try these steps :

    1. The webtemplate 0TPLI_0TCT_MCA1_Q0144 is build upon the query 0TCT_MCA1_Q0144.

    2. So try executing the query - 0TCT_MCA1_Q0144 in rsrt2 and check whether you are getting the output or not .

    3. If the query is showing the output whereas the webtemplate doesnot shows the output .

then execute the webtemplate in report - RS_TEMPLATE_MAINTAIN with the version as 'D', if this gives the output .

Then your webtemplate has been modified . You can reinstall the webtemplate to its content version from the tcode - RSORBCT and then check its output.

    4. If the query also doesnot gives the output , then check the manage screen of 0TCT_MCA1 and check whether the data

is available for reporting or not . If there are any red requests in the cube, the data won't be available for reporting .delete the red requests and then check the query output.

    Regards,

    Lokesh
