The second Source should add into the Key an other key.

Exam:

Key 2.Key

AAA BLANK

2. Load should add 555 into the AAA

Key 2. Key

AAA 555

Can someone ive me Information about this, how can I do that.

Hi Mojito,

Why you have two key? According to given information, you only need one key. If you want to update second key(in this scenerio should not be key), you should remove it from key fields. So you can update this field.

Hi Mojito,

Here we have to consider one more scenario.

If first load has value 555 and second load value is BLANK, then it will over write the 555 with BLANK. Make sure that 555 value will come in second load only.

Hope this will help you.

Chenna.

Hi Mo,

Remove the Keyfield2 from the DSO & add it to Datafield. So no you will have only 1 keyfield.

So when you load data for the first time it lokks

Key Datafield1

AAA BLANK

When you load the data from 2nf source having datafield1 as 555 & keyfield as AAA, the 1st record loaded will be overwritten & it looks like below as per your requirement:

Key Datafield1

AAA 555

Hope it helps!

as long as both fields are in the key, you can't.

if you want to overwrite one field, you need to get it out of the key.
