Dear all,

a little bit of background of myself and my R/3 setup for the following questions:

We are using WM-PP interface, which means we uses production supply and control circle in the setup.

I am not a PP person and am quite new in WM-PP area.

Questions:

1 - In which table I am able to trace back the production order (i.e. source) of a transfer requirement as the at the TR header which is having a requirement type (BETYP) of P, BUT having a requirement number(BENUM) which IS NOT a production order but the cost center

Hi,

The requirement type "P" is for production supply. Please check retuirement type "F" (order), you will get the production order number in field LTBK-BENUM. In table "LTBK" you can get this details.

Hi Sudhir,

You are right that the Requirement Type "P" is Production Supply, and its requirement is supply area. And that the Requirement Type "F" is actually the production order.

I am confused now, why my TR documents have requirement type of F and P?

1 - How to generate a TR document so that the TR will have the requirement type having an "F"?

2 - How to generate a TR document so that the TR will have the requirement type having a "P"? is it because transaction LP10, LP11, and LP12 is used?

Thanks.

Hi,

Requirement type set in defination of WM movement type. If you check WM movement type (Path:SPRO>LEWM>Activity>Define movement type) 201-GI to cost center, you can see requirement type "K" and for 261-GI to order it is "F".

As you know WM movement type get picked on the setting in IM-WM interface. You need to set WM movement type 261 to get TR with requirement type "F" for the IM movement type in interface.

Hope this will help.
