we have 2 production versions for Target/Actual comparison. For 1 of the version on material I see Target and Actual in different lines (123456 material).

target Actual Variance

10000 10000-

123456 - Fertilizers 2345 2345

345676 - Fertilizers 2 40000 3456 544

On 1st line I see issue and rest of items in reports are aligned fine. Any help is appreciated.

Mohan

Hi Mohan

Sorry, your issue is not clear to me... Are you saying that Target is appearing in 1st Line and Actual is zero..... Then actual is appearing in another line and target is zero against it??

If yes, then the reason for this is the change in the basis of comparison... When you released Std cost, the BOM/Routing was having some components / Act type... Now, during prod order processing, some components have changed... This results in such a situation... This results in "Usage Variance"

Hello Ajay,

In my earlier post format got messed up . What you interpreted is correct.

When you said "prod order components might have been changed "are you refering to BOM?

Orders on this particular material which is being consumed has constant issues. on Some orders Material and desciption is missing but shows $ values and in some cases it shows up all the information but in different lines (target on oneline and actuals on other)

Thanks for your help,

Mohan

Hi Mohan

yes, I am referring to BOM Components...

If the Compos have not been changed, then the issue might be with the "Material Origin" field in the Mat master (Costing View)

Tick this indicator for all components and re-release your Std cost... After that any Prod order created will satisfy your need
