MM03 > Classification , update problem

Hi;

1- ) I have create

A material : MAT1

A variant Class : CLS1 (Class: 300)

A Charactersitics : CHAR1

2-) I assigned CHAR1 to CLS1 and assign CLS1 to MAT1 and save material master

3-) Than I realize that I made a mistake and decided to chnag values in CHAR1. But system werenot able to recognize the change.

When I check material master "MM03 > Classification" new values of charactersitic is not visible. I see the old values.

During sales order, I also cannot see the new values

How can I handle this problem?

HI,

If you are changed CHR1 values ,class CLS1 will not take automatically

Select your updated CHR1 line row and click button on OVERWRITE VALUES and save it.

it will automatically updated.

you can open class view and check it

It is better to remove the class assignment in material master and reassign the class.
