Enterprise Service Repository (ESR) setup in Duet Enterprise

Hi,

I am following the following guide from SAP:

to implement a demo for Duet Enterprise.

I am stuck at the 2nd step, which is to set up the connectivity to the ESR System. When I execute SPROXY, it shows me "Local Objects Only - No Connection to ESR".

I have created a Type G RFC connection via SM59.

The name of the connection is SAP_PROXY_ESR.

However, when I am unable to establish the connection. When I click on Connection Test, it shows the following:

Status HTTP Response: 503

Status Text: Service Unavailable

Duration Test Call: 66 ms

The high level view of my architecture is simple, I have my SCL on 1 box (NW1) and my backend in another box (ER4).

I am performing the above configurations on the ER4 since my BAPI's and all other business suites are stored there.

Please assist.
