PO Custom Field Add:ME_GUI_PO_CUST

Hi,

I have to create a custom tab on PO header. I have implemented the BADI ME_GUI_PO_CUST with custom fields in the custom screen. However, in ME21N, this new tab is not appearing. At the same time, it is appearing in ME23N. If i take a PO in display mode, the tab appears and then switch to chaneg mode, the tab disappears.

Can any one please help? I have searched older posts as well but have not found an answer to this particular problem.

Kindly help.

Thanks in Advance,

Shraddha

    Found the answer myself...We have to add the following code in the BAPI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST

    In Fieldselection_header

    METHOD if_ex_me_process_po_cust~fieldselection_header .

      DATA:
        l_changeable          TYPE mmpur_bool.

      FIELD-SYMBOLS:
        <fs>                  LIKE LINE OF ch_fieldselection.

    * Is PO changeable?
      l_changeable = im_header->is_changeable( ).

      LOOP AT ch_fieldselection ASSIGNING <fs>.
        IF l_changeable IS INITIAL.
          <fs>-fieldstatus = '*'. " Display
        ELSE.
          <fs>-fieldstatus = '+'. " Change
        ENDIF.
      ENDLOOP.

    ENDMETHOD.

    In Fieldselection_item

    METHOD if_ex_me_process_po_cust~fieldselection_item .

      DATA:
        l_changeable          TYPE mmpur_bool.

      FIELD-SYMBOLS:
        <fs>                  LIKE LINE OF ch_fieldselection.

    * Is PO changeable?
      l_changeable = im_header->is_changeable( ).

      LOOP AT ch_fieldselection ASSIGNING <fs>.
        IF l_changeable IS INITIAL.
          <fs>-fieldstatus = '*'. " Display
        ELSE.
          <fs>-fieldstatus = '+'. " Change
        ENDIF.
      ENDLOOP.

    ENDMETHOD.

    Regards,

    Shraddha
