Fields in Maintenance order subscreen Location are uneditable

In ECC 6.0, In the maintenance work order screen, the fields related to Location tab are not editable. I have maintained the fields in OIAZ as input field . Then also, the fields in the location tab are uneditable.It is displaying the data from equipment master data. How can we make this editable?

yes, it is related to authorisations

May also check whether it is the case with a particular Order Type, then review the OIAZ settings for that order type, through influencing button.

I have the refurbishment order type having the editablity features in the location tab. For all other order types, the location tab is uneditable.

Now you compare the OIAZ settings of Refurbishment order type with those of others, through influencing button and copy the settings to other order types.

Hi, The location tab becomes uneditable only when I attach an eqiupment or functional location . If I do not enter equipment or functional location, the location tab becomes editable.

any clue?

This could be related to Roles and Authorizations. Maybe you could check to see if the same thing happens to other users, or if it's unique to your login.

Hi ebenalfa,

Check whether there is a transaction variant created for the transaction IW31/ IW32 and activated as a standard variant in SHD0. If there is, deactivate that transaction variant, that would resolve the problem.

Please check the field selection of all the fields in location tab in spro.
