Setting up Precalculated web templates

Hi, I want to know how do you set your precalculated web templates to execute for let's say this month, or today in one of the variables (0calmonth, 0calday), not a static date (ex. 9/1/04), maybe an SAP Exit you can use. Also, if a precalculated template executes one night for 1 month (ex. Sep 2004), would the web template(online in stored mode) execute the stored data if I run it for any day within that month? (Using Calmonth and Calday)

One more question. How do I have precalculation happen at the "read all data at once" mode? So that when the data is precalculated, I can now run the query and use any free characteristics and/or swaps/drilldowns/filters without going back to the database to retrieve information?

These are 3 different questions, sorry I didnt put a different topic for each.

Hello There,

Pre-cache will be lost once you load data in that particular provider on which query been cached. (Ofcourse, it will be cached back when the report got executed by the 1 st time) and

If any users execute the report with out of range selections those used in pre-cache.

Hello Angel,

for the first question.

You can create a new variable as customer-exit.

In the extension you can use current date (SY-DATUM) to determine the actual month.
