Hello,
When I activate BI content via background option, a error occured and activation job canceled. The error log is "Specify the package or flag it as a local object", for change request in source system. If I use activation via dialog option, then there's a dialog to input package for source system change request. After input a package, then activation can go on without error.
My question is, how to activate BI conten in background with a default package assigned, then, error of "Specify the package or flag it as a local object" can be resolved?
Thanks!
Hi Sam,
If you don't want to catch the changes to tranport them, then you can flag them as a Local Objects.
Once you have selected them as a Local Objects, then you will able to activate them with out assigning them to any TR.
Hope this helps you... let me know if your query still unanswered.
Regards,
Raj

Hello Raj,
Thank you for your answer. When I chose to activate BI content in background, assignment of package or local objects of ECC system didn't popup. Only if I choose to activate BI content in dialog, this will be popuped. It's assignment of package on ECC side for activating data flows with data sources.
Sam
