Hi,
I am creating inbound delivery with reference to PO having movement type 101. I have already maintained the WM Views in my material master. Also, the indicated storage location in the PO and inbound delivery is WM managed. I have also set the item category of my material as 'relevant for putaway/picking'.
My problem is that when I create the inbound delivery, the WM Status field is set to 'No WM trnsf ord reqd'.
Can anyone help me with this issue?
Also, I have a field in the status overview tab in the inbound delivery named 'In Plant' and it is colored red, thus indicating it is a required processing for the delivery. Can anyone tell me how to process this? or how to make this field not required?
Thanks!
I'd think of only two places to check:
1. 'ELN' item category marked for 'relevant for putaway' - comes standard
2. Storage location entered does have a warehouse assigned
Can you check if the Warehouse number is populated (LIKP-LGNUM) in the the delivery? If not, then the assignment of storage location and warehouse does not exist in customization. Also, can you re-check the item category ELN for that flag?

Hi Kalyan,
I've checked LIKP-LGNUM and the warehouse number assigned to the storage location specified in the PO and inbound delivery is in that field.
As for the item category, I made another item category namely 'ZELN' and it is already relevant for putaway. This item category appears in field LIPS-PSTYV of the inbound delivery that I made.
Is the process for receiving in EHP1 the same as the process in receiving in EHP4? We just had our server upgraded.
Thanks!
That should be it. Since you are using an account assigned PO, the WM status will appear 'Blank'. Although you may be able to key in the storage location and perform a receipt, the material document will not have a storage location since the stock procured will be directly consumed by the account assignment. Note that if it is non-valuated material (such as UNBW) then you'll receive the inventory into stock which means the WM status in the delivery will be active for this material.
