SAP System to suggest substitute spare part

We have approximately 25000 spare parts. Out of these approximately 5000 spare parts are substitute spare parts.

In case there is requirement for original spare part and there is no stock, system must suggest substitue part if one such part is defined and its stock exists.

How do we go about this?
