Question on BOP GATP

Hi All,

We use Back order processing to change the ATP commitments on a daily basis. The BOP job runs overnight.

I find the below issue.

There is a material A which has a dependent demand as on Jan 10 2017. This dependent demand is consuming the stock. Now when i create a new Sales order for 10 Dec 2016, the Sales order is not getting confirmed at the time of creation. I expect that BOP should actually remove the commitment of the dependent demand and confirm the Sales order created for a previous date. But this is not happening. The BOP commits only for Jan10 2017 where there is a planned order available.

Can you please let me know where i am wrong. Also within the system where can i find the logic for the BOP result.

Hi LS,

Did you try re-distribution option of the BOP?Select product availability under re distribution option and also try to give Sort criteria based on the RDD date. This should solve your issue.
