Hold Subcontracting PO

Hi,

I tried to 'Hold ' a subcontracting PO in 'me21n ' .Initially the 'Hold' button is there in the 'me21n' screen ,but whenever putting item category 'L' ,The 'Hold' Button disappearing. I tried with using the shortcut (Shift+F4) and that also not working.

What will be the problem?. Whether SAP doesn't alllow us to Hold a subcontracting PO?.
