Replace quickly tables/views

Hi,

I am using Crystal Reports 2008 SP3; I have some reports that need to use new tables and/or views. How can I quickly replace e.g. a old table with a new view - I also have to adapt the joins.

It seems that I have to go first to Database -> Set Datasource location; there I can select the table I would like to change and select the new one in the lower part of this dialog window.

Then I have to go to Database -> Database Expert -> Links to draw the new join.

Is there a faster way or more secure way?
