Hi There

I have CR2008 SP1 and Excel 2010, when I tried to export CR report to excel, I got the error and the program will be terminated, if I select "constant column width( in points)", the report can be exported to excel, but if I select the default setting "column width based on the objects in the whole report", it will give me the error

The instruction at "0xff168b1c" referenced memory at "0xff168b1c". The memory could not be "read", click on OK to terminated the program, then second error will show up

The exception unknown software exception (0xc0150010) occured in the application at location 0x7c94487f. Click on Ok to terminated the program...

also I have BO XI 3.1 SP3, when I tried to export my WebI report to excel, it does not use Excel 2010 feature(support over 65536 rows), it will split the report with over 65536 rows into two sheets like with Excel 2003

does anyone know how to fix these two issues?

thanks

but my CR report is not new one, it works well with the previous CR version, after I removed the old CR version and installed new version CR2008, and found my existing CR report with Cross tab cannot be exported to "excel 2003 only" any more except I select "column width Constant Column width", I think it is compatible or design issue

If you are not willing to debug the report then not much more I can suggest, either install SP3 or purchase a case and have a REP debug the issue with you.

Requires uninstall first ( version 12.3.0.601 )

how to fix the first issue? before I installed excel 2010, I had excel 2003, and still had the issue to export the CR2008 report to excel, that is why I thought excel 2010 may solve the issue and removed excel 2003 and installed excel 2010

did you mean if I install CR2008 SP3, it will solve the first issue?

Hello,

Install Crystal reports SP3 and test first. If it still crashes then it's likely some part of the report causing the issue. Start removing parts of the report and test each time.

thank you

Hello,

Excel 2010 is not supported in CR 2008. It is in the next version of CR 2011.

No option to not get sheets for more than 65k rows, limitation of Excel.

Install CR 2008 SP 3, requires an uninstall first. Be sure to have your CR keycode available.
