Deleting Open Inbound Delivery

Hi All,

I want to delete the Open Inbound Delivery.

Is there a way to close this inbound delivery.

Issue is : Gr already done but not with VL32N but with MIGO so it remains open in system

while creating purchase order if your maintained in inbound deliver field against inbound deliver no only need to do good receipt with inbound deliver system will not update

please check the config setting goto Tcode OLML Shipping->Basic Shipping Functions->Configure Global Shipping Data

now the issue is

Already GR is done

But in system it shown OPEN as well as in VL06I i can c...

But GR is already done...so cannot delete the Inbound

When you post Gr with Inbound delivery -- system shows this message as Open

cancel the goods receipt document already posted and then process the goods receipt again using the VL32N for the inbound delivery.

From an MRP standpoint, the inbound delvy is marked as 'closed' (provided the confirmation control configuration setting has this marked - this comes has default).

Operationally, the inbound delivery is closed therefore has no implication. It is just the part of the 'status' and document flow of the inbound delvy that is not updated and as you may know already that this status/document flow is updated via VL32N receipt or 'shipping parameter at client level' configuration under shipping.

If you just want to delete the IBD regardless then you have to reverse the receipt and make the deletion. But, I'm not sure why would you need to delete the IBD since you can now receipt via VL32N.

I cannot cancel the material document because the stock is utilised.

I raised to SAP they said to implement Note - 570991

In VL32N can you the see the delivery qty. chnage that delivery qty to 0 and then delete the delivery.

use VL06I to get the list of inbound deliveries pending for goods receipt and then use VL32N to delete that inbound delivery.
