Add Filter values in WAD

Hi all,

I am extremly new in WAD.

I have a requirement that when user is exetuing a report in web, they are gettin a filter option to select key figure.

Now they want one more value to be added in the filter selection. It means when they execute report in portal they should get one more values to select in the already existing filter values.

How it can be done. what changes I have to do in WAD

Please explain in details if possible as I am very new in WAD.

Dear Sunny,

You are able to see only 1 or few values in the filter because the query is built in that manner.

In oder to show some more selection you have to edit your query in the bex designer.

Just figure out the field on which you have to provide more selection values and accordingly make the changes in the

query filter for that field.

Once you make the changes and save the query the corresponding result will be reflected in the WAD report.

Hi Sunny,

filter option to select key figure? open the respective bex query and see if there are any selections for kfs. changes the bex query as per the new requirements and update it. you will get the more ooptions of filters/selections in wad once its updated/saved. hope this helps.
