Release strategy for PO and Service Entry Sheet

Hi

I maintain characteristics- Plant, Doc Type , Order Value & Purchasing Group for PO release strategy.

should I maintain the same characteristics for service entry sheet ?

the approval will be the same for both

Hi,

PO release strategy can be designed with characteristics- Plant, Doc Type , Order Value & Purchasing Group but you can design SES release strategy with characteristics- Order Value(CESSR with LWERT) & Purchasing Group(CESSR-USRC1). Have a thought- Where you Create purchasing Group for a departments ( Say example as P01 for Production) in OME4 t.code & ceate a Cost center for the department where cost going to capture ( Say in Production Department) and assign department to cost center in basis data TAB of cost center in KS01/KS02 t.code.

For Service Entry use CESSR.Rest is same as PO release strategy.

Hi,

The Po reselase strategy can be set up separately from the entry sheet release strategy, so you can use even different characteristics for your entry sheet release strategy. These are not connected!

Please read note 672719 question 5 - How can I set up a release procedure for service entry sheets?

Note: The release strategy must be based on the structure CESSR.

The PO release strategy is based on the structure CEKKO.

For the SEs release strategy you must create a different class.

service entry sheet uses comm structure CESSR while for PO it is CEBAN.

you have to create characterisitcs with reference to these tables for SE sheet and PO respectively.

Release groups should also be different
