Talent Management 3.0 SP1 - Position Listing Filter

Hi,

In the Position Listing, it returns the position where the end date is earlier than today.

Meaning, it's showing the position which is no longer active.

I tried to filter this through Admin Console.

I found the filter option, but I couldn't filter it by date.

There is no date field available, there is like position ID and position name.

I can filter by position ID and other available fields.

But I need to filter where end date > today

How do I add a new field to listing?

After I add this field, how do I configure so that date is fetched from ECC to Nakisa?

Regards

Jack

    Hi Jack,

All the searches are controlled by TREX. I would check SAP notes because this sounds like a problem with TREX indexing incorrect data and I'm sure I've heard of this issue before. Try note 1551029 - TMC: Incorrect authorization check for PA infotypes, although that might not solve the Position issue.

    Good luck!

    Jack,

Is the TREX delta indexing running and are the indexes up to date? Did this position(s) have their end date recently changed?

Might be worth trying to test using SE38 on program ESH_TEST_SEARCH to see what values are actually in the index.

If the data in the index is wrong -> schedule the re-indexing (recommend Luke's blog: Setting up NetWeaver Embedded Search (TREX) for SAP HCM Talent Management EhP4, 5 and 6).

If data is correct in index then this suggests an error in the TREX setup. Could be worth then querying with SAP via OSS.

Also, to answer your 2nd part ... if you want to add to the listing then you need to extend the TREX setup as well as the Nakisa configuration. I did once see an excellent article/blog on this but for the life of me I can't find the link! Anyone else got it?

    Regards,

    Stephen
