how to identify the queries where the heirarchy is being used?

Hi,

We are using one hierarchy which is a top node in some queries. But recently this hierarchy is changed to subnode (removed from the top node).due to this the process chains which was running previously was failing as it is not able to identify the herarchy.

Now the issue is, this hieararchy is being used in some queries. How do i find that this hierarchy is being used in which queries?

I checked the where used list, but doesnot exist, cant find in metadata repository and....

can you please help how to identify the queries where the heirarchy is being used?

Thanks,

rani

Hi,

Try pulling the object in Transport connection and change the grouping to Before and after.

Hope this helps.

hi,

i dont think this will work, as i took the infoobject 0costcenter from which the hierarchy is being used. But that infoobject is being used in more than 800 queries.

thanks

Hi Rani,

an idea is to search table RSZRANGE with OBJVERS = 'A' and HIENM = 'TECHNICAL_NAME_OF_HIERARCHY'. Then pick the corresponding ELTUID's and place them in table RSZELTPRIO. From there you will find the relevant COMPUID's. Finally, the relationship between field COMPUID and field COMPID (query's technical name) is given in table RSZCOMPDIR.

Hi,

You can check some tables which are related to queries and the fields information. if not then you have to go and check all the ueries using rsrt with local view.

hope this helps.

thanks,
