HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION

Has anyone used this Function Module to delimit HR records? I tried to use the operation = 'LIS9', but it doesn't delimit the record.

Thanks,

Mark

If you lock the record before this function Module. It will work.

Hi Mark,

Depending on Infotype that you are wanting to delimit the operation "LIS9" doesn't work.

In some infotype you need to discover which is the operation and it is usually the same used operation when it executes the transaction SHDB.

Hi Mark

Check out what is the time constraint setting for the infotype.

The time constraint is set to 3 on the infotype. I changed the DIALOG_MODE to 2 in the Function Module to determine what is causing the issue. Once the FM is executed, it displays the record to be delimited. The record isn't selected or highlighted, so it doesn't get delimited.

Mark,

Time constraint 3 can have overlap or duplicate records. I think you may have to break the record yourself. If your time contraint is 1 or 2, then when you insert a new record, it will automatically delimited.
