Error in settlement of Prod. variance to COPA

Dear Experts,

I want to t/f production variance as whole to copa.Yesterday i did the config and same was t/f to COPA at settlement.

What i did it. I have defined prd gl in okb9 with PSG as tick and as well as FI PA transfer structure.so variance followed to COPA.

But today i got error in settlement states that pls enter PA transfer structure then i checked in order header there was only one rule MAT and no tab for Settlement variance where my PSG rule was coming.

request you to guide me on above.

Want to t/f variance to copa as whole.

Hi Raman

If you are using Costing Based COPA - What you are doing is not correct... You should not create Variance acct as cost element

However, if you still wanna do it, then check whether it is the same GL account or a different account which you assigned in OKB9... Just check if this GL in the error msg is there in PA Trf Str FI

If the error msg pertains to PA Trf Str other than FI - Then check whether the Cost ele posted in the Prod order are assigned in that PA Trf Str

Hi ajay,

I have not created PRD a/c as cost element. I have ticked in my settlement structure 'variance to costng based copa.

request you to guide me.how to t/f prod. var as whole to copa.

Assign the same Value field in your PA Trf Str to all the assignment lines
