Hi Gurus,

I am trying to perform export of Dual stack SAP Netweaver 2004s using SAP Netweaver EHP1 installation master.

It is a distributed system, hence first we are trying to export the database instance.

But we are recieving the below error.

Hi,

I tried using SAP Netweaver 7.0 SR3 installation master..

Here is the new problem now.

I found that there are no files present in /usr/sap/SID/global, but files were present in /sapmnt/SID/global.

So i manually copied the files from /sapmnt to /usr/sap, now it is going through but it is not generating and *.STR files, and it is getting over in less than 2 mins.

Any advice??

Also to inform you, it is a distributed system and we are trying to perform database export. Moreover it is not asking for Spli table preparation etc..

I have seen that error on Linux systems.

Even if you have an installation directory sapinst will place a few files in /tmp. They may get deleted (by cron, user) so the necessary files are no more there and hence the classes are not found.

Unfortunately I can't recall out of my brain which files have to be extracted and put there, I had an OSS call, will try to find it.

Hi,

You should use SAP NW 7.0 installation master rather than using EHp1 media.

Also refer to the system copy guides : http://service.sap/com/systemcopy
