When will SQL Anywhere 17 be tested on the current Ubuntu 16.04?

This topic was started at http://scn.sap.com/message/16906530 and unfortunately closed before successful tests have been added to the support matrix of SQL Anywhere 17. Many of the "few weeks" have passed since August 2016.

  • FWIW: That topic was not technically "closed", it's just been archived like any other former SCN question as part of the migration to the new tag-based FAQ site. Therefore IMHO that should not mean the issue itself is considered closed by the SQL Anywhere folks...

(And sorry, I don't have an answer...)

  • Just to add:

You might also ask on the separate SQL Anywhere Forum, IMVHO the responses there are usually more helpful...

    Hi Marten,

    I confirmed this matter.
Ubuntu 16.04 seems to be supported with SQL Anywhere since September.

I ask why the Supported Platforms document was not updated now. Please wait for a little while longer.

    Thanks,
    Atsushi
