KM - File system repository W2K security

I was wondering if any of you have created a file system repository using W2K security? I am trying to see if I can configure the system to not have to use a "user mapping" for each individual who wants access to this repository. We currenly use NTLM authentication in the Portal -- which is what we use to get onto our network and access this file system. It seems redundant for the user to have to create a user mapping, when they are already logged onto the network. Furthermore, our passwords expire every 60 days -- which makes it a support nightmare for users to create user mappings, as they will have to maintain this password again in the Portal....
