Problem with Import package!!

Hi Experts,

I am creating a new import package in BPC 7.5 M and giving DataTransferMode property value as "1" (Import into SQL) of Dumpload task and RUNTHELOGIC property value is also 1 so it means it should run default logic,Now the problem I am facing is that default logic is not running at this time but if i change DataTransferMode property value as "4" (Import into cube) then default logic runs fine. So I would like to confirm that is there any rule defined that when we use DataTransferMode=1 then default logic will not run.

Please help!!

Thanks & Regards,

Can yo uplease explain what exactly you would like to do?

What do want to do with import into SQL?

I think actually you would like to import data into wb table and in that case DataTransferMode must be 6.

And the logic will run fine as well.

      Hi Sorin,

I am loading the HCM text file file coming from SAP HCM Interface into BPC Application, I know using DataTransferMode=6 and RuntheLogic=1 of Dumploadtask will run default logic and also if we use DataTransferMode=4 and RuntheLogic=1 of Dumploadtask then also it will run default logic. My question is as I have tested it lot of times with all the options and found that If we use DataTransferMode=1 and RuntheLogic=1 of Dumploadtask the it will not run default logic.

      Thanks & Regards,
