MCKALKW-PMENGE not equal to RESB-BDMNG why?

Hello Everyone

Iu2019m new to this forum.

I am using the table MCKALKW to get the production order details. Because I couldnu2019t find any other table containing Order number, planed component usage and actual component usage.

For very few Orders the planned usage quantities for components in MCKALKW-PMENGE differ from the field RESB-BDMNG or to planned quantity field in the production order Cost Analysis sheet (KOAZ).

Could someone tell me why that is?

What is the difference between MCKALKW-PMENGE and RESB-BDMNG?

Thank you very much in advance for your comments

Regards

If you notice a difference in the values in those fields it means that required qty. in the order has been changed.

Check with the planner in-charge for that order & confirm for quantity changes.

Anyways your CO person would be able to explain you better on MCKALKW.

If you're building a custom report, then why not take the value from RESB & compare this with the withdrawn quantity from MSEG ?

Hi Vivek

Thanks for the reply.

I encounter similar problem with RESB too. There I ran in to orders, where actual quantities used were not equal to KOAZ. A particular order has many production recordings but only the component usage for the first production recording was in the RESB. Thatu2019s why I thought of using MCKALKW.

Could you please tell me what are the tables being used in KOAZ?

My requirement is to list component planed quantities and actual used quantities for production orders within certain period. The amounts should equal to KOAZ.

Thanks for the help.
