tables COOI and COSP inconsistent

Hi,

We have an issue in commitments records. We raised a 3rd Part Req for Network which was then converted to PO. Now, the Commitments Table COOI is having the PO line items but is not having PR line items in it. Table COSP is having entry with value type 21. So there's an inconsistency in both the table.

Could anyone please advise how this can be resolved.

Best Regards,

HI,

1. If the PO is a service PO, then based on the SAP release you are in, there are notes available.

2. run "RKANBU01" & cross check.

3. Use the "Closed" indicator in PR & cross check the table entries again.

Hi,

i think it is a standard behavior. because PR commitment convert into PO commitment once PO has been created.

PR commitments considered as internal commitment and PO commitment is considered as external commitment. Once the PO is created with reference to a PR system converts internal commitment to external commitment.

hope it clears your doubt.

Tnx.

Hi Abdul,

I don't think its not SAP standard. As far as I have seen , Table COOI will always have an entry for PR even if it is converted to PO. Checking SAP Notes, once get any thing relevant will post an update.

Thanks for your time and efforts,

Best Regards,

Mohammed

HI,

OK. Do you by chance have diffrent GL accounts in both these PRs?? If so cross check for the existence / validity period of cost elements for both.

Hi Krisap,

Many thanks for your inputs. Both the PR line items have the same GL. Checked the cost element and its validity, that's also fine.
