BULK extension of masters from plant to other

Dear all,

We have to extend a set of (>5000) materials from One plant to other. Also the Recipe Master and Inspection Plan along with MIC, Resource and Inspection Methods are to be extended. Is there any way to do BULK extension of the following

1. Material master from one plant to another

2. Master inspection characteristics

3. Inspection Plan

4. Resource

5. Bill of material

6. Master Recipe

Hi Subbu,

You can extend Material Masters through MM50 in mass for multiple plants. For all other Master Data , you need to use LSMW or BDC. There is no other alternate for extending them.

Its not possible to extend the master data in bulk

I feel , you have used LSMW or BDC for creation of masterdata in that plant, use the same LSMW or BDC to create a master data for other plant

Dear Sundaresan,

Can we use ALE to transfer Material masters, MIC & inspection plan

I have seen the codes QL21, QL31 BD10

Whether the same can be used to transfer from one plant to other

Generally the ALE Are u used the transfer data from one System to Another .

It is not possible to use this to do extension of the master data.

As recomended by others it is advicable to go by LSMW or BDC .
