Passing parameters through drill through

I'm trying to setup drill through for the journal entries. Can you please let me know how to pass parameters to the query like all the dimensions values from the current view.

Any info is appreciated.

Regards,

Suresh

    Hey Suresh -

We've been using the drill-through functionality for about a year and it works fairly well for us. We're using the drill through to execute a Stored Procedure and return data from our Financials system. Here's an example of how we pass the parameters:

    exec STORED_PROCEDURE_NAME '%TIME', '%BUSINESSUNIT%', '%ACCOUNT%', '%COSTCENTER%', '%MEASURES%'

    Hopefully this helps you out.

    Good luck!

    Sean

Thanks for the reply. We have stored procedure and there are pparameters passed to that. I have reports that works for drill through and when I'm trying to drill through the same account in Journal I do not see the option for drill through. I have the DRILLKEY property setup for the account.

Can you please let me know how I can drill thorough the Journals.

      Regards,

      S
