smartform duplex printing and tray info

Hello,

Is it possible to do duplex printing by also passing tray info to the pages. In my form I have page 1 coming from a different tray and subsequent pages from a different tray but these subsequent pages need to be double sided.

When I do not pass tray info i get the duplex print but I loose it when I pass the tray info to the page even though all the pages are from the same tray. Is there a solution for this? Please suggest.

    Hello

    Duplex:

If you are printing SAPSCRIPT, the duplex can be specified in the

associated SAPSCRIPT form with the field Printmode as per the following

Note: 96102 - Information on double-sided print with SAPscript

It is similar for Smartforms that the duplex can be specified in the

    form.

In this way a sequence is sent to the printer to turn on duplex print

if the Printmode is set this way in the SAPSCRIPT/Smartform.

It's possoble to test via transaction SO10 in client 000 and print the

    standard text SAPSCRIPT-PRINTMODETEST

    Tray selections:

The tray selection process varies according to whether you are printing

    SAPScript, Smartforms and/or ABAP Lists.

It also varies among different device types. Please refer to the following SAP Notes:

189618 - Paper tray and print mode for Smart Forms

542736 - Controlling input and output bins for Smart Form

143375 - Choice of paper tray for printing lists 4.5A/4.6A

42565 - Select paper feed when printing SAPscript in 3.0x

    Regards.
