suppress a 'summary' cross tab when 'a detail' crosstab done

Hello:

I have 2 cross tabs, each one occupying a group header; the first one is a 'summary' crosstab that I want printed at the top of each page while the second 'detail' cross tab prints; I have tried a number of techniques (eg, if onlast record, etc) to get the summary crosstab to quit printing on the page when the second cross tab is finished displaying all its data, but I cannot get the summary crosstab to stop printing.

Can you please explain how this can be done ?

Thank You

The cross tabs print side-by-side and the detail cross tab is shorter than the summary cross tab?

I don't think you can stop it. Once the cross tab starts printing, it won;t stop until it is done.

Hi Debi ..... the issue in my mind is to capture the 'event' when the second crosstab has finished so that can be used to suppress the first crosstab ...... but how can you capture when the second crosstab has completed ??

Thanks

Again, I don't think you can stop it or suppress it. Once the cross tab starts printing, it won;t stop until it is done.
