Relative Position,Width&height options for Xcelsius Components(Like WebIn)?

Hi,

I created a dashboard using Tabset Component. There are 5 tabs. Each Tab contain a column Chart and Pie chart in the top row and two guages in the bottom. When I change different tabs, as width of these charts and guages vary, it does not look good. So I want to keep same size for all components (meaning same width and height for all Column Charts/Pie Charts/Guages in various tabs) .I do not see any option to check width and height for a component to gave same in other tab like in Web Intelligence. Could you provide me a work around?

BR, Nanda Kishore

    Hi Kishore,

I have few techniques thru which we can maintain uniformity and consistency in size.

    1) Copy deisred component from Tab 1 to Tab 2 and make the component size as same (i.e, Copy a Guage from Tab1 and paste it in Tab2 and make size same for both).

It will be a bit time consuming when you have more components in your tab.

    2) If your components in all Tabs are same then you can do one thing. Place all the Components in panel under tab 1 then

copy the panel and paste in Tab 2 change the excel mappings and do it for rest.

As many suggested you to use label based menu, that is also a good suggestion but requires lot of effort on Xcelsius design and excel logic.

I hope 1) will be more suitable for you, coz no excel logic.

    Hope this might help you.
