Unable to Instal Xcelsius 2008 Engage on Windows 7 with Office 2010

Hi,

I having a problem installing Dashboard with the filename "14-20018-085.exe", I using a Windows7 64-bits and with Office Pro 2010 installed. Any suggestion?

Excel 2010 is not supported with the current release of Xcelsius.

If you google Excel 2010 and Xcelsius you will see a few workarounds. The most common being to install Office 2007, then install Xcelsius, then go back to Office 2010. However you may then not be able to install future fix packs, and you will be using an unsupported setup.

Unfortunately your only robust option is to use Office 2007 if you want to use Xcelsius.

The new Xcelsius (with BI4.0) works with 2010, but as far as I know Office 2010 is still not 'officially' supported.
