Automatic Acceptance

Hi QM Experts,

In my solusion, I create inspections lots from PM Orders. Each inspection lot has multiple equipments as inspection points. Currently in QE51N I go to each inspection point and either Accept or Reject. Based on that the usage decision is defaulted. At the end I associate the usage decision to the entire inspection lot.

I'm looking for a soluiton where I only mark the Rejected inspection points (which is very less) and rest are Accepted AUTOMATICALLY. Is there a way to do that?

Make sure that you do following settings

QCC0> Basic settings>plant level settings>--> results recording>> recording configuration.

select option 3: close , navigate, save automatically.

Then

In Operation overview screen in routing-->Select Quality Mgt Inspection points----> 3.Automatic valuation depending upon inspection point definition.

But I'm sorry I still cannot find the place even after double clicking on the Control Type.

Its not control type it is control key in operation level.

anyways at operation level there is tab of "Operation Overview"

click on it & scroll down

Note:This will be visible only if you have inspection point mentioned in the Header

Yes I've defined inspection point ( 310 - Functional Locations) in the Task list Header. then Ive created one operations which comes in the operation tab. When I double click control key, I see no place to enter the option you specified. what is the name of the field by the way.

Also after these setting what changes happen functionally? Can I report the rejected items in QE51N and mark the rest as accepted in one go?

Hi Sujit,

Yes finally I found the place you are refering to. But these setting are for a different reson than my requirement. It automatically takes the usage decision based on accept and reject.

My requirement is, suppose we have 20 functinal locations in inspection lot as inspection points. I expect 2-3 maximum to be rejected. So I reject 2 or 3. The rest have to be accpted in one go; mass change.

can you guide me on that please.

You can have the inspection point automatically valuated.

In the operation header you can scroll down and you should find a section related to the inspection valuation. You can select automatic valuation there.
